For this, we use the option “expanded data protection mode” provided by YouTube. If you open a page which features an embedded video, this creates a connection to the YouTube servers and shows the content via information sent to your browser on the internet page. According to information from YouTube, in “expanded data protection mode”, only data is sent to the YouTube servers, in particular which of our internet pages you have visited when you watch the video. If you are simultaneously logged in to YouTube, this information is assigned to your member account at YouTube. - “Twitter button” from Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA;

By opening the “YouTube” page, you cause the recommendation components to make the browser you are using download the corresponding portrayal of the components from the supplier in question. This process will make the relevant supplier aware which exact pages of our internet presence are currently being viewed.

If you are logged in to the above suppliers at the time you open the “YouTube” page in your personal account, the supplier in question can collect information about the sites you recommend as well as your IP address and other browser-related data and link it to your account.
