The return to NYC

The big fat banner in the foyer of the Javits Convention center says it all: Finally, time for AES NYC again! Here we go...

Hutch giving elysia demos at the Audio Power Tools stand? Not really, but we do like the thought a lot ;-)

Our direct neighbors: The TK Audio team. This was great, and we spent quite some time chatting about this and that.

The guys from BAE came up with a really cool idea to display their products. And you even didn't have to insert a coin.

Dave Amels from Anamod in front of their complete product line. Rock on, Dave!

Color your sound: Here is a nice row of ADK mics in pastel colors, spreading a very nice sixties vibe.

Simply amazing. Check out this beauty from Ronin Applied Sciences, showing a great care for details. Lovely.

Later at the party in Studio G in Brooklyn. Dan Physics and Dominik talking in front of the amazing outboard collection.

And here is the mpressor's faders on the SSL in Studio G. Always on duty, hammering the drum bus or whatever needs punch.

Dave Bryce rocking one of the two great pianos... the party was really cool, and we were glad to be co-sponsors ;-)

We're closing this photo gallery with a mirror shot of Tom and Dominik. Good times we had – to be continued.

Celebrating its 65th year, the 135th AES Convention made us come back to New York City after two years of Big Apple abstinence. Here are some snapshots...

This year we stayed at the New Yorker Hotel for the first time. It's quite nice, and in walking distance to the show.

A closer look at the demo rack. All these nice toys... sweet. Instant knob-fiddling gratification guaranteed, that's for sure.

A great team at every AES: Douglas Fearn and Tom VDH. Finally, we found the time to have dinner together. To be repeated!

AL.SO's Olivier Bolling presents his entire products range. Check out how nicely his outfit matches the Hellax color scheme...

Denis Goekdag from Zynaptiq using the Force (TM). They clearly put a good amount of it into their most exciting plugins, too.

Star Trek at AES: This dummy head at the B&K stand had been beamed directly from the NCC-1701 to the show floor.

And here we have an xpressor 500 that slipped into the demo rack of Cloud Microphones. New ribbon from Roger, too!

The mpressor found its place here long ago. Joel Hamilton loves it, and we love Joel. He got one of the first units in the US.

Hello, there is an nvelope living in studio G, too. This place is simply amazing, so many great processors united in one place.

Finally! Too much time had passed since we saw our friend Rich Williams from Burl Audio. Good to see you, brother.

A trade show in New York City always comes with a lot of fun, and this one had been no exception. Great people, great places, and a really great time!
