What a nice coincidence! On the plane to JFK we met Dirk Ulrich from Brainworx. First bottle of Bacardi dead after 10 minutes...
The calm before the storm. Before the show we went to Central Park pretty much every day to enjoy the view and fresh air.
On our way to the show we where reminded of the focus it had the year before... would it be the same again this time?
A very nice welcome also on the air: Click me to get a Virus! I actually didn't give it a try... don't know what I missed.
Michael Brauer owns an mpressor, too. Here he checks if the museq might be a worthwhile complement.
Cables are important! Some of the best are built by Jürg Vogt from VOVOX... we're using it exclusively.
And on it goes: Greg and Sarah Scott from KuSh Audio present the UBK Fatso and the Clariphonic Parallel Equalizer.
Jeff Goodman and Peter Schmidt from Berlin prove that beards grant for some good humor ;-)
Developers' meeting: Dave Derr from Empirical Labs and Ruben get a grip on the elysia stack.
Group picture of the European compressor freaks: Vertigo Sound, Alternate Soundings and elysia giving thumbs up.
Three years after spotting the mini version in Paris (see here) there she was: The original Lady Liberty in full size!
Tom Van Den Heuvel aka elysia France and Dominik enjoying the light show at Times Square – without sunglasses!
...that it did not really fit into one picture. A big thanks to Gil and Dave – this really was a treat!

New York is loud, fast and exhausting... and it's always cool being there. The 127th AES show was calling, and of course we'd come!

Later that day, Dieter Kahlen from Studio Magazin and Ruben enjoy their first meal on the trip in a nice little burger place.
Right in front of Central Park we stopped for this impromptu Jazz concert by these three gentlemen. Very cool!
In case you forgot how many times the AES has taken place so far – now you now. Welcome to the show!
mpressor addict Joel Hamilton and Aaron Nevesie from The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn posing in front of our gear.
John Greenham, however, prefers and loves his alpha compressor which he uses for his mastering work all the time.
Talking about the cool stuff: Right in the middle between Dominik and Ruben there is Rich Williams from Burl Audio! Right on!!
Gil Griffith from Wave Distribution and Greg Calbi from Sterling Sound arrange an alpha compressor demo session.
Lewis Chiodo from Audio Chocolate in Victoria, Australia checks out our latest candy: the mpressor plugin!
It was a great pleasure meeting Neil Dorfsman. Neil shared some cool background info on one of our most favorite albums...
After all, there's a life after the show, too. Here we see Dominik and Ruben on the way to Liberty Island.
Meet new friends at Liberty Island! For example this always smiling, but not very talkative metalhead at the pier.
On the way to a very decent aftershow dinner with a crew of cool people. The limo was actually so long...

On the next day, we left New York City and took the flight home into much quieter surroundings... but we'll be back for sure.
